d-bag of the week … do what i say or the country gets it …

d-bag of the week by hip is everything

we’re baaa-aaack …….
it’s been  a while since the chimp and i have awarded a d-bag of the week to anyone, but it certainly hasn’t been because the douchebaggery has abated any …
i just needed a break from all the sliminess and slithering that passes for sentient behaviour in the so-called corridors of power …
but, as all good deeds truly deserve some kind of reward, it’s that time again …
and (insert favorite deity here) knows, we certainly did have another week chock bloody full of scheming, lying politicians, incoherent, ass kissing, dog whistle blowing, incessantly blathering, windbag broadcasters, greedy, glamour glomming grifters and pointless, prevaricating and pontificating pricks, and so, it’s time to answer the question that seemingly needs to be answered kids …
just who took their act to the lowest of the low, the worst of the worst, the slimiest of the slimy? …
who was the king or queen of douchebaggery in the last seven days? …
a week that was, as per usual, full of some of the slimiest, sleaziest, slithering, scuzzball serpents the world of poll pandering, petulant and pithy partisan politics, fanatical, frenzied, far fetched faith freaks, and the exorbitant, exaggerated and exuberant elitist acquisitiveness, avarice and avidity that the preening power pricks(aka politics, religion and corporatocracy) has to offer …
and this week was as bad as every other lately, the norm these days it seems, with more than it’s fair share of despicable, degenerate douche bag dancing, misogynistic, mean-minded and mendacious manoeuvres, slimy, sickening, sleaze-ball slithering, repugnant, reprehensible, repulsive and revolting rantings and railings, and an out and out torrent of treasonous talk and treacherous temper tantrums …
especially by the so-called “family values” gang over on the right and their bat shit crazy, bullshit bellowing, ideologically inane, greed grovelling, greasy grifters and their prevaricating, petulant, pompous and pointlessly pious proponents …
in the end, as we always do, we found our winner …
and a rather deserving one, if I do say so myself …
and even though this week’s winner was not without a copiously crammed cornucopia of conniving, classless, clueless, crass and cretinous challengers to that majestic mantle of  mediocrity, mendacity, meandering mindlessness and missteps we like to call the “d-bag of the week, we do have a winner …
normally, this where i go through all the doucherockets, like john mcgrumpypants mccain, lindsey “lapdog” graham, steve king, etc. and all the bullshit idiocy that they and their mendacious, misogynistic, moronic, hate filled village idiot buddies have spewed or proposed, but this week there really is only one story that really matters, and only one moronic manoeuvre that sets the bar to an all time low …
and that, my friends is the game of chicken that john of orange, ted cruz and the rest of the bagger repug congress is playing with the world’s economy …
so without further ado …
our d-bag of the week award goes to …
the republican congress
(with a little help from bat shit crazy ted cruz and his gop senate comrades in harms)
Here Are the GOP’s Debt-Ceiling Demands, and They Are Insane
“Delay Obamacare and enact the entire minority party agenda or else …”

In 2006, then-Senator Barack Obama voted against raising the debt ceiling. How is that any different than what the Republican Party is doing today? people all over cable news keep asking.

This is how. Obama’s vote was a silly symbolic vote that had no consequence, but, crucially, it was also supposed to be a silly symbolic vote that had no consequence. Like many minority parties before them, Democrats used the debt ceiling to make a stink about fiscal policy, but they didn’t try to hold the White House—or the international financial community—hostage.

This time is different. National Review snags the details of the House’s debt-ceiling demands, and once you get through them, you’ll be surprised they didn’t ask for free ice cream, a lifetime pass to Disneyland, and a bill to rename the capitol “The Reagan Dome.”

  • One Year Debt Limit Increase

    • Not a dollar amount increase, but suspending the debt limit until the end of December 2014.

      • Similar to what we did earlier this year.

    • Want the year long to align with the year delay of Obamacare.

  • One Year Obamacare delay

  • Tax Reform Instructions

    • Similar to a bill we passed last fall, laying out broad from Ryan Budget principles for what tax reform should look like.

    • Gives fast track authority for tax reform legislation

  • Energy and regulatory reforms to promote economic growth

    • Includes pretty much every jobs bill we have passed this year and last Congress

    • All of these policies have important positive economic effects.

    • Energy provisions

      • Keystone Pipeline

      • Coal Ash regulations

      • Offshore drilling

      • Energy production on federal lands

      • EPA Carbon regulations

    • Regulatory reform

      • REINS Act

      • Regulatory process reform

      • Consent decree reform

      • Blocking Net Neutrality

  • Mandatory Spending Reforms

    • Mostly from the sequester replacement bills we passed last year

    • Federal Employee retirement reform

    • Ending the Dodd Frank bailout fund

    • Transitioning CFPB funding to Appropriations

    • Child Tax Credit Reform to prevent fraud

    • Repealing the Social Services Block grant

  • Health Spending Reforms

    • Means testing Medicare

    • Repealing a Medicaid Provider tax gimmick

    • Tort reform

    • Altering Disproportion Share Hospitals

    • Repealing the Public Health trust Fund
