Jersey Zoo Welcomes New Camel To The Fold

The stork paid a visit to the Six Flags / Safari Off Road Adventure Zoo in Jackson New Jersey last week, delivering yet another bundle of cute-and-cuddly. This time, it’s a baby camel.
The thankfully rarely seen omnivore/scavenger, known as the  ‘puffy, white-ridged camel’ (doucherocketus gigantis), known for it’s pronounced, puffy toe and surly nature, is native to the rocky shores of New Jersey, especially in and around the George Washington Bridge area in Fort Lee, N.J.
